A – Age > 50?

N – Neck > 40 cm?

G – Gender male?

STOP-BANG

Score 0–2: low risk. 3–4: intermediate. 5–8: high risk of moderate-severe OSA. Sensitivity for detecting OSA is ~90% at score ≥ 3. High-risk patients should be referred for polysomnography. OSA increases cardiovascular risk, daytime accidents, and perioperative complications.
