Assess jaundice risk zone based on bilirubin and age in hours.
Based on the Bhutani nomogram, TSB levels are plotted against postnatal age to determine risk zone. Phototherapy thresholds depend on gestational age, risk factors, and age in hours. Late preterm infants have lower thresholds. Risk factors include hemolysis, G6PD deficiency, sepsis, and prematurity. Follow AAP guidelines for management.
