What are Pivot Points?

Pivot points are technical analysis indicators used to determine potential support and resistance levels. Floor traders originally used them before electronic markets. The central pivot (PP) acts as the primary support/resistance level, with additional levels above (R1, R2, R3) and below (S1, S2, S3).
